Note: The Targets page and management functions are only available to Super Users
To create a new target;
- Click Add
- Select the Owner of the target - either My products or Competitor products
- Enter a Start Date for the target - this will also be the End Date of the current target
- Enter a description for the target
- Click Start - the target editor will open
The Target Editor is used to select the products you wish to track and display data on when filtering using the selected target. Products with a tick icon next to them will be tracked at the selected retailer, while unticked products will be excluded.
You can configure this information by;
- Search - enter a full of partial product name or GTIN to find specific products
- Target Details - amend the Live Date and Description of the target
- Target Actions - Complete actions on the product;
- Select Retailers - select which retailers to display in the Target Editor. Click Submit to save
- Set Target by GTIN - Set target products by entering GTIN's. To do this;
- Click Set Target by GTIN
- Select the retailers to select products for
- Click Next
- Enter the product GTIN's into the field
- Click Submit
- Bulk Actions - click the down arrow to complete a bulk action on the products list
The current active target is highlighted in grey. When a new target is created, an End Date is set for the current target, and the new target will become active once this date is reached. For each target, the following actions are available;
- View - A matrix of every product being tracked through eCI for each retailer. Products with a tick icon are included in the target, and products with a cross icon are excluded
- Copy - Create a duplicate of the tracked product list
Targets which are not yet active have the following additional actions available;
- Edit - Opens the Target Editor allowing you to select which products to track
- Delete - Deletes the target. Click OK to confirm the decision
