How do I add or edit Reference Data?

To add or edit reference data, select the pencil icon next to the GTIN you wish to customise. 


If reference data can be taken from the Product Library, you will see the associated data listed in their respective fields, identified as eCI ReferenceIf no reference data can be added from Product Library, you will see all fields default to orange, with a No Data disclaimer appear. In this instance, data needs to be added manually. 


To do this; 

  1.  Select the pencil icon that appears next to the field title. Doing this identifies that you wish to use Custom Reference data instead

  2.  Enter your customised data for all fields

  • Name - the full name of the product
  • Brand - the brand of the product
  • Sub Brand -  the sub brand of the product, if applicable
  • Image- upload an image for eCI to track from a retailer website. To do this; 
    • Click on the upload icon
    • Select an image from your computer - maximum file size is 5MB
  • Manufacturer - the manufacturer of the product
  • Size - the products retail size, select from either g or ml 
  • Package - the package type of the product
  • Description - the description of the product
  • Ingredients - the ingredients of the product, if applicable
  • Nutrition- the nutritional values of the product, if applicable
    • The bar icon allows you to reorder data if required and the cross icon allows you to remove an entry in this field 
    • To add addition rows and columns, select from either Add Row or Add Column 
    • The Additional Text field allows you to add any further information from the product's nutritional table
  • Other Information - any further information about the product, including Marketing information 

    3.  You will need to ensure the following fields are captures as they are mandatory requirements in order for eCI to track your products on       

         retailer websites;

  • GTIN
  • Product Name
  • Brand
  • Image

           Note: If these fields are not filled in, you will be unable to submit your custom data and a pop up will appear asking you to complete the 

                     missing fields

  4.  All other fields are not mandatory and can be disabled, if required, from being tracked by eCI by selecting the circle icon 

  5.  Once all applicable fields are complete, select the Submit button to save the reference data
