How do I use the Sales page?

Note: This function is only available to eCI users in territories where retailers provide active data. Users without this function will still see a dashboard display with no data visible in the Sales Value or Volume columns 


The Sales page displays both the value and the volume of sales across the retailers and retailer locations, allowing you to analyse sales of your products as well as measuring them alongside those of your competitors. 


The page does this by displaying information on; 

  • Product Availability - shown by the green icon for availablered for unavailable and grey for not listed
  • Listing Price - The current price listed by the retailer for your product
  • Transaction Price - Price that is paid for the product
  • Sales Value - The combined total of sales, which is worked out by multiplying the price paid for the product by the number of products sold 
  • Sales Volume - the number of products sold 


The data displayed on the Sales page can be changed using the following controls; 

  • Filters - The Sales page can be filtered using all standard filters 
  • Search - Products can be searched for by entering a product name or GTIN into the search field 
  • View - Change how the Sales page is d+isplayed using the standard views 


To download Sales data, you will need to use the main Data Extract function within the Products feature and select to download Sales from the list of characteristics.
