What does the information on the Product Page mean?

Modified on Tue, 12 Dec, 2023 at 3:47 PM

The Product Page shows product measurements in both an individual product summary, and a summary that (if applicable) will show the product compared against assigned competitor products. Selecting a section of the summary will show additional eCI measurements.

The individual product summary is broken down to the following categories;

1. Product Availability

   This section shows the product scores for;

  • Listing - score that identifies how much of your tracked range is available across the retailers
  • Availability - score that displays the availability of the product across the retailers

       Clicking on this part of the summary will display more product Availability information, including the number of days the product may have

       been out of stock and the last date of availability.

2. Product Pricing

    This section shows the product values for;

  • Prices - the average price of your product across the retailers
  • Promotions - how many promotions are active for this product, indicated with a star icon

        Clicking on this part of the summary will display more product Pricing information, including the previous price of the product, how many days the product has been on promotion and the competitor pricing difference.

3.  Product Visibility

     This section shows the product scores for;

  • Search - the average search score of the product when keywords are used on the retailers website
  • Placement - the average score of how easily the product can be found on the retailers online shelf

       Clicking on this part of the summary will display more product Visibility information, including the search score broken down into the search

       values associated with the individual keywords

4.  Content

     This section shows product score for;

  • Content - the score determined from matching the information held for the product on Product Library against the information displayed on the retailers website and measuring how well they match

        Clicking on this part of the summary will display more product Content information, including the content score broken down by product

        sections such as Brand, Ingredients and Nutritional Information.

5.  Product Sales

     This section shows the product value as;

  • Sales - the total price of your sales, determined by using the unit price of your product, multiplied by the volume of sales

       Clicking on this part of the summary will display more product Sales information, including the availability of your product, the overall sales

        value, the volume of sales and unit price of your product.

There is also a general summary towards the bottom of the page, which breaks down the measurements tracked on eCI on an individual retailer basis. It shows both your own product, and if applicable, competitor products so a direct comparison can be drawn.
