Essentials Clean Label

Provides the containment level of the product for OTC essential clean label attributes (organic, non-gmo, natural, kosher, etc.) using only on package data for attribution.

The Standard sets out guidelines on all aspects of production to ensure the Halal integrity of products, including food health and safety regulations, storage, delivery and cleaning and cleansing which takes into account scientific developments to prevent contamination from pork and other unacceptable derivatives.

Organic	Organic Certified	The Organic Certified attribute includes any food or beverage product that has a published symbol, logo or certification relating to or claiming to be organically certified.
Organic	Organic Claim	The Organic claim attribute includes all products that are making a claim generally related to organic on their package.

Essentials Ingredients of Concern

Provides the containment level of the product for OTC essential ingredients of concern (NSAIDs, alcohol, parabens, etc.) using only on package data for attribution.

Antibiotics	Antibiotic Free	The Antibiotic Free Claim includes all products making a claim indicating they are free of antibiotics.

Phthalates	Phthalate Free	Includes all products making a claim of containing no phthalates. Phthalates are mainly added to plastics to increase their flexibility, transparency, durability, and longevity. Some believe exposing to phthalates might have negative effect on human health, FDA determined that there wasn't a sound, scientific basis to support taking regulatory action against cosmetics containing phthalates.

Essentials Sustainability

Indicates whether the product meets the criteria for OTC essential sustainability practices ( humane, sustainable, environmentally friendly, etc.) using only on package data for attribution.

Animal By Products	No Animal By Products	Includes all products making a claim of containing no animal by products.
Bio Based Packaging	Bio Based Packaging	The biobased packaging attribute includes all products which make a claim about their packaging being biobased or a certain percentage biobased, or products which have a USDA certified biobased packaging certification.
Bio Based Product	Bio Based Product	The biobased product attribute includes all products which make a claim about their product being biobased or a certain percentage biobased, or products which have a USDA certified biobased product certification.
Biodegradable	Biodegradable	The Biodegradeable claim attribute includes all products that are making a claim of utilizing biodegradeable materials on their package.
BPA	BPA Free	The BPA Free Claim includes all products making a claim related to being free of Bisphenol A.
Cruelty Free	Cruelty Free Claim	The Cruelty Free Claim includes all products making a claim about Cruetly Free concept.
Cruelty Free	Leaping Bunny Cruelty Free Certified	The Humane Bunny Certification represents eight national animal protection groups banded together to form the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC). The CCIC promotes a single comprehensive standard and an internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo. The CCIC works with companies to help make shopping for animal-friendly products easier and more trustworthy. The intial capturing of this certification began on 11/05/2013.

Plant Based	Plant Based	The Plant Based claim attribute includes all products that are making a claim of being plant based or botanical based on their package.
Rainforest Alliance Certified	Rainforest Alliance Certified	Products bearing the seal originate on--or contain ingredients sourced from--Rainforest Alliance Certified farms or forests. These farms and forests are managed according to rigorous environmental, social and economic criteria designed to conserve wildlife; safeguard soils and waterways; protect workers, their families and local communities; and increase livelihoods in order to achieve true, long-term sustainability.
