How do I manage my Groups?

Modified on Wed, 13 Dec, 2023 at 4:31 PM

To manage your Groups;

  1. Click the jigsaw icon - clicking this will open the group management page, from which you can add or remove products from the group.

For your group types to be effective, you need to ensure you assign the correct products to your group types - for all products under 200g, you will need to assign all products that meet that criteria.

Note: A product assigned within one group type cannot be duplicated in another group - For instance, a product cannot be assigned to both under 200g and over 500g

The group management page is split into two sections;

  • Products not assigned in group type - these are products that are not currently listed as part of the highlighted group.
  • Products in group - these are products that are currently listed within the selected group

To add products to a group;

  1. Select products using the checkboxes
  2. Click the > arrow

To remove products in a group;

  1. Select products using the checkboxes
  2. Click the < arrow

Changes are saved automatically once the products are moved. Specific products can be searched for using the Search products field in both sections. Each time you create a new group type, you have the option again to assign all your products to respective group classifications and you will need to repeat the steps above to ensure these are classified. Once all products are classified, you will see your Not Assigned number reduce to 0.

NoteIt is not mandatory to assign all products to a group taxonomy if they do not meet the criteria, however it is recommended to classify products where possible to ensure visibility of your product data
