Once you have selected your characteristics, you can further customise your charts using the Breakdown tabs.

Applying a breakdown to your charts refines the variables you are analysing by grouping them from each other. Doing so offers additional insights in your data as your Breakdown selections will create separate plot lines on your chart and displays separate data values in your table.

To use this panel;

  • Click on the tab next to the title Breakdown - this will be a default selection of 'None' until you choose your selection.

  • A pop up box will appear and will give you the choice of six selections.

    • Owner - groups your products nto your own and those of your competitors if you have selected to view competitor products in Filters

    • Retailer - groups your products by retailers

    • Location - groups your products by the location

    • Brand - groups your products depending on brand

    • Groups - if you have applied groups to your products, these individual group types will appear here

    • Product Type creates individual plot lines that shows your product promotional status
    • Promotion - creates individual plot lines that shows your product promotional status

    • GTIN - creates individual plot lines for every GTIN

  • Select your Breakdown by ticking the box and pressing submit. This will immediately display additional plot lines on your charts. with the named variables appearing in the data table, both of which use individual colours to distinguish individual variables.

  • Note: Each chart can only display 100 individual lines.
