How do I use the Data Table in Cross Analytics?

Once you have created your charts, applied any filters and selected a breakdown of your products, you can start to analyse the data you have requested in the data table.

When selecting either your own products or that of your competitors, you will see the data

prefixed

 as below;

  • My Products - Your own products
  • Competitor Products - Products from your competitors

Note: If you have filtered to view both your own products and those of competitors, they will be listed in your table distinguished by their prefixes

When applying a breakdown to your charts, an additional prefix is applied to the names in the data table. Every breakdown you select applies a prefix to the data table to further distinguish it from the others.

If you were viewing your own products broken down by retailer and location, the data table would display separate values for all your products, separated by the retailer that listed them online, and then by the location of the retailer.

If you are viewing large amounts of data, you can use two icons to highlight or lock your data in place;

  • Tick Icon (White with green background) - This deselects the variable from your chart. Clicking on the tick re-adds the variable back to the chart
  • Tick Icon (black) - Selects or deselects all variables from your charts when clicked
  • Tick Icon and Padlock - Locks the variable in place on the graph to isolate plot positioning and values and is useful when viewing a large number of variables that overlap each other on your chart. Note: You can only select on variable to lock at a time, and you can still see the values of the other variables in the table
