How do I use the Search page?

Modified on Mon, 18 Dec, 2023 at 11:37 AM

The Search section provides an overview of how your products are performing against other products when defined keywords are searched for on retailer websites.

Note: Keywords for products can be defined by Super Users

Each keyword is analysed on the retailer website for the product's positioning in search results, and then assigned a search score out of 100 based on the position. The product's overall search score is then calculated by taking an average of the keyword scores.

The Search Results page provides a list of your search scores for each product per retailer website. Along with the score, the highest search results position and a number of keywords found is displayed. Clicking on the eye icon will display a more detailed breakdown of the search results positioning and score for each keyword assigned to the product.

The data displayed on the Search page can be changed using the following controls;

  • Filters - The Search Results page can be filtered using all standard filters
  • Search - Products can be searched for by entering a product name or GTIN into the Search field
  • View - Change ho the Search Results page is displayed using the standard views

You can also download the search scores of your products. To do so;

  1. Click the dash button to SELECT ALL, or to add individual products, use the + button
  2. Click the shopping trolley icon at the top right hand side of the page
  3. Click Data Extract
  4. In the Additional Characteristics list, click the Search and Placement box
