What does Average Search Score mean?

Modified on Tue, 12 Dec, 2023 at 3:08 PM

The Average Search Score dashboard tile displays your product's average search score across all retailers. Every product is assigned a search score for each retailer, based on the position it appears in search results when the product's defined keyword(s) are searched for. The higher the product's position in the results, the closer to 100 its search score will be.

Hovering over the tile will display the two retailers with the lowest search score.

The graphs display the following;

  • Score - The average search score for all your products listed on each retailer's website
  • Changes - Difference in the average search score since the last cycle
  • Trends - Line graph showing how the average search score of your products on the retailer's website has changed
  • Search Results - The total number of your products that appear in search results when a keyword is searched for, split by their positioning in the results. Products that do not appear in the results are excluded from the totals.
