What is Reference Data Entry?

eCI uses reference data from Product Library when tracking products on retailer websites. However, if Product Library is not available in your country, or if you wish to associate custom reference data with your products, you can enter this data in the Reference section.


As part of your account set up, your own and competitor products will be added to your eCI account by an Administrator. Once this is complete, you will be able to select whether you want eCI to track reference data taken from Product Library (if applicable) or whether you want eCI to track custom reference data that you will need to manually enter yourself. 


Note: In terrorities where Product Library is not available, in order for eCI to recognise you products on retailer websites, this action must be completed before eCI can begin to track performance results
