Note: To ensure you upload the content to the correct fields in GPE, you will first need to manually enter a product into GPE to ensure the content passes validation and also ensure your product information is mapped to the correct data fields.
Once the product is validated, you can then download / extract that product to an excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet now acts as the template for you to add your other products and upload into GPE in bulk.
Once you have downloaded the template you can then make any changes or additions to the excel spreadsheet, and once complete can be uploaded to your GPE account
EXCEL UPLOAD
- Create a new spreadsheet of products to upload to your account
- Click the Item button on the main menu, then Upload Excel File
- Select whether the products should be saved as Pending or Published once uploaded
- Click Select File and find the spreadsheet to be uploaded - the spreadsheet will be imported instantly - any errors will be listed for each GTIN on the spreadsheet. Click Cancel, then upload the spreadsheet again with the errors corrected.
- Click Confirm
- A validation check is run on the products - each product uploaded will be assigned the relevant status and any validation errors identified
- Click OK
