What is a reference image?

Modified on Fri, 1 Jul, 2022 at 11:30 AM

Reference Images are used to help create an accurate 3D model of a product. These can be photographs from the Product Library, images from google, or technical drawings of the product.

All 6 sides of a product and close up details would be ideal, but not a necessity. If no reference images are available a photograph of a similar product/packaging type is required.

The reference images help the artworkers create an accurate portrayal of the final packaging type.
